#1. In the past while I revised peoples work I would be short and sweet on the paper but when handing it back to them I would explain what I meant. thinking about it know if I did that when thy go back to revise their work they may not remember what I explained. therefore, it make sense to provide more information then you think necessary.

#2. When the author said don't be supportive and give the writer the benefit of the doubt it stuck with me because when people read my writing I want them to tell me the truth and not say "oh its great" or "I don't think you need to change anything" I know there are issues with my writing that's why I'm asking your opinion so please tell me what you think. Also, I liked how he said don't try to sound like a teacher just sound like your normal self. I like this because if someone is reviewing my paper I want them to tell me what they think rather then tell me what to do.

#3. I have done peer review in the past and if it is a grade to peer review someone's paper people usually just do the are minimum to get the grade and don't actually give me advice on my papers so I would say its been negative in that situation. Now, if I am just asking someone to read my paper it has been positive because they will actually read my paper and give me good advice to improve my writing.

Throughout chapter 1 of “The Bedford Book of Genres,” I learned that there are a variety of ways to improve one’s writing. Several writers tend to get carried away while writing that they forget who their audience is and what message they are trying to deliver. Action Plan

For my action plan I will add more pictures to my website and continue to expand on my topic. I also plan to make posters to place around campus to reach outside audiences and use that as my nondigital source. I will continue to work over the weekend to finish the project and best carry out my message on my website.

Rachel Klahm 3/27/18

1) In project two I first did a lot of research to gather ideas and topics that I wanted to include in my essay. Then I went through and proofed it while adding citations and formatting everything. I did ended up doing three drafts rather than two. Project one was a little easier to write in my opinion because it was based off of our observations rather than facts and statistics. 2) I liked taking my first draft and transforming it into a final draft. This is where I organized all my thoughts and made the paper flow nicely. Once I have all my ideas out on the paper I can easily reorganize, cut and add new things. 3) I enjoyed project one more. I think it was lighter in the sense that it was more fun to write about. I liked exploring the different kinds of social adaptions in the films while also comparing time eras.
