Chapter 10 discusses what a multi-genre project is which is a collection of three or more genre compositions made into one topic. I found the steps to assembling a multi-genre project vey helpful because it helps guide me in forming my project. First the book said to give some kind of introduction or background information on what your project is based on. This will not only make people aware about your topic, but it will also give you a chance you state your side if it is an argumentative topic. Next, it said to keep your genres organized, you should have them flow seamlessly and not randomly organized because it could throw the audience off. Once that is all finished, you can give your project a unique title that will stand out your audience. Finally, then to wrap everything up you can write a topic rationale to justify all your choices you made throughout the entire project. Chapter 10 was very helpful with giving examples of what genres I can use for my project. I think it provided me with a better understanding of what to do for project 3.
For my action plan I will add more pictures to my website and continue to expand on my topic. I also plan to make posters to place around campus to reach outside audiences and use that as my nondigital source. I will continue to work over the weekend to finish the project and best carry out my message on my website.
I also found the examples to be very helpful and they also helped guide me to choose what genres I should take into consideration when working on my specific topic for project 3.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I will use the textbook information to better my project three
ReplyDeleteI also view the chapter as a sort of guide to project 3, and the examples were very helpful with giving me a better understanding of the project.
