Desmet, Charlotte, Van Der wiel, Alko, Brass, Marcel. (2017). "Brain regions involved in observing and trying to interpret dog behavior". PLOS one Edited by Sam Gilbert.
The research articles main purpose was to distinguish the differences between human behavior and the behavior of a dog using fMRI scans on participants who were selected in the expirement. They used dog owners and non dog owners to see if living with a pet would influence some of the behaviors a participant would do. The participant said were given three tasks to do and based on the results of the three tasks data was recorded on how they would behave based on different stimuli reactions of dogs and participants. The stimuli reactions also show the different region of the brain that the participant used and they compare it to the dog to see if they use the same region of the brain.
